September 3, 2015

The Netherlands has one of the most advanced internet infrastructures in the world. And this is no accident. Always strategically located, the Dutch have capitalized on their position to make Amsterdam the technological crossroads of Europe. If you are in involved in the internet in any way and you want to do business globally, then you do business in Amsterdam.

But being at the crossroads of the internet world is only one reason to come to the Netherlands. There is a thriving local market as well. By 2018, it is estimated that the IaaS market will explode to nearly € 500 million (US$ 550 million), and 78% of SMBs expect to make the transition to cloud services. This opportunity should not be missed.

Additional Networking Event

Attendees of our Amsterdam event can now expect a beach BBQ and even more enjoyable networking. We are joining forces with another industry gathering, the webhostingtalk.nl & ISPConnect BBQ, so that guests can go to both events.

WHD.local in Amsterdam will finish at 3pm, and a free shuttle bus will take you to the webhostingtalk.nl & ISPConnect event in Nieuwegein and back. The journey only takes about an hour, and we’ll even give you a couple of beers for the ride. Webhostingtalk.nl & ISPConnect guests are also invited to the WHD.local event, so there will be lots of great opportunities to meet industry peers.
